Amanda, Emory and I have looked into this topic for the science fair. It is a very interesting topic and I think it revolves around people being stubborn and not trying new things. I think that technology today has gotten to a point where hot or cold water doesn't matter in this situation. They have done research and tests and the results are about the same. Some advanced cold water detergents even work better.
This is a very interesting topic. I think this because hot water has always been believed to wash better, which is why everyone uses it. Like Chloe said, this is mostly people being stubborn and not trying new things. I like this article a lot because it makes people more conscious about the environment around them and how we waste so much energy.
