The reason I am so excited for this is because the co-founder of spaceX, Paypal, and Tesla Moters is one person. That person is father of Griffin and Xavier Musk. Griffin and Xavier go to the Mirman school. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elon_Musk
Elon Musk is a millionaire and much more info about him can be found on Nova.

Sorry for posting 2 times.

Cool! I think it would be fun to go into space and stay in a space station. It would probably cost A LOT of money, could be dangerous, but if everything went well, it would be an amazing trip.

If I ever win the lottery, I want to do this. It's so cool! it's also interesting the creator of so many things is a parent at the Mirman School! It would cost a a lot of money though. I take a astronomy and we watched a video on this. It can cost from 1 million dollars, to 1 billion dollars (depending how long you stay there).

This is amazing but this doesn't sound like a good idea. The only people who could afford this 'amusement ride' would be important to society and since space travel isn't safe, the world could lose many great people. Can't Nasa admit that they've have been using the same technology since decades ago. This is so expensive, mainly because Nasa space exploration is a waste of money. During the space race, Nasa spent 1.5 million dollars to make a pen that would work in space, the Soviets just used a pencil.

I agree with Sergio.

I wouldn't want to stay in a space station because I am DEATHLY afraid of exploding from pressure in space, but I think that if I wasn't afraid it would be a really amazing experience. After all, not many people can say that they have stayed in space! I agree with Rehaan and Chloe in saying that it is extremely exciting that there is a Mirman father working on this! It must be exciting for their child. I think the opposite of Sergio. I completely disagree that NASA space exploration is a waste of money. They sent a man to the moon! Apollo 11 was the first spaceship to send a man successfully to the moon and back, winning our country so much recognition. Without the NASA exploration, we would be behind in so many discoveries. Although, I do agree on the pen idea. Mostly. Pen lasts longer than pencil, so they needed those records for legal purposes and further use.

Um... yeah, this isn't my thing. I would be TERRIFIED to go to the space station!!!! On the other hand, like Ava said, it would be an amazing experience. It does cost a lot of money though! I agree with Ava again, which means I disagree and agree with Sergio. Pens are better for keeping notes a while, but that is kind of a waste of money to spend, I mean 1.5 million dollars?!?! Also, space exploration isn't a waste of money. I think the complete opposite. We would have no discoveries about space without NASA.

Wow! I think it would be amazing to go to space, like in the WrAP test. I would like to play tag without gravity.

By the way, my mom was listening to NPR, and they had him in an interview. That was like right after I read this articles, so I thought that was pretty cool.

This was really cool! I think it would be kind of neat to stay in a space station, but I don't know if the cost would be worth it. I'm not sure if the insane cost would be worth the experience. But it sounds really cool! Luca is right, it is like what we wrote about on the WrAP test.

This would be absolutely awesome. It has recently been launched. I wonder how that will go.

This is very exciting. I wondered what was going to happen to the International Space Station after they stopped sending up the space shuttles. How were they going to make all the repairs? It’s strange to think of a private spaceship. It’s good that SpaceX is testing the unmanned spacecraft first to make sure that everything is working properly before they send up a crew one day. Who chooses the crew, NASA or the private company? Can anyone go up if they can pay for a ticket?

The photo of the Dragon spacecraft after its first successful orbital flight looks like an older spacecraft that I saw in a book.
