I think that this is very interesting. It is possible, but wouldn't it take forever to sew together a new head and tail on a virus? Also, if you wanted a golden nanowire, you need to make them all straight, so you would need to wait a long time for them all to join up. Then, you would need to straighten them so they are straight wires. One more thing: wouldn't the viruses duplicate while they are in a chain? If it was put into use, it would only last so long until the nanowire container is full of viruses.

That was a very interesting interactive clip that showed me the process of making a nanowire. I did not know that you had to go through that whole process to make that technology. It was such a multi-step process. It must take a while to do it. In order to make a gold wire, you had to wait for the wires to form a chain, which took a while. I also did not know that viruses duplicated that fast. I wonder what life would be life if we were viruses.
