That is awesome! It's funny how some science things relate to global warming! It will also save money for many people! I hate when that happens to a battery! it's good that they say it works well because that is a brilliant idea. I hope there are no quirks to it. Who knew we could make a battery live for maybe, forver before we could make us live that long.

Wow!! I think it is really cool how they might be able to fix the cracks in the batteries and other battery problems. That would be really cool if you never had to worry about charging your computer before school! It's so awesome how they discovered that when these plastic bubbles break open because there is a crack, the liquid inside seals it. It would be great if they actually could stop battery fires made out of just cheap plastic!

This is a very interesting post. But I wonder when they will be putting this to use? I hope it will be sometime soon and then again eventually the special liquid would then the battery would revert back to its previous life span and if the battery were to overheat what would happen is that the plastic would be stuck there and it would radiate bad fumes to your laptop or iPod which battery cannot be replaced or some laptops batteries cannot be replaced and those laptops are very expensive!!! from $1000.00 to maybe even $4000.000!!!!!! The most basic iPod is about $70 that's still a lot of money to spend again but if your warrenty is still valid you can probablly return your iPod and get a new one for free!!!

I think that this is really cool. It wastes less energy, because you don't have to keep using more and more batteries, and it also saves your money. Batteries can be expensive. I hope that it does work, because it's a brilliant idea. I know there must be some drawbacks, but it doesn't appear that there are any. This is really amazing.

That article was really interesting. I think that it is amazing that scientists can make longer lasting batteries, and to also be able to cool a battery down by putting little plastic bubbles to heal the cracks in the battery when it gets too hot. It is a coincidence that this subject would come up, because I have some real life experience with it. When I was very small, I lived in Baltimore. I had a Piglet that sang a song, and a Sesame Street saxophone that both had batteries. I play with them every summer just to test them out, and we still haven't changed the batteries!!! I don't know how it is possible. Maybe it is the power of fun or something like that. I want to take the batteries out and see how it is possible that those toys still work.

Wow this is very interesting... I never thought about how man things have to use batteries to work. That would be really cool if we never had to charge our computer before school, or any other useful object that runs on batteries.

I think that it is really cool how you can patch up batteries and make them last longer. Imagine how much time you would save not having to change the batteries or charge your computer. And believe me, I am the one who has to talk about computer battery drainage, when I started writing this, I had 74% now I have 54%. I do not, however think that drug stores, such as Rite Aid, would benifit from this, considering they would sell less batteries.

This could fix batteries wearing down and battery's currents running out, but also thing of it this way. What if the batteries outer core is broken, where it shows the company logo and everything, and someone accidentally uses it and it overheats? If the plastic melts and spills out, what will happen? I think this proves the fact that every scientific theory must be able to be proven wrong.

Wouldn't all the liquid melt at the exact same time and if they keep on using it, wouldn't it evaporate. If it all melts at once,

Sorry about it getting cut our on the last one. I was going to say that if it all melted at once, the battery would be over-clogged.
