I think that blood donating is a good idea. A good question for doctors to ask people is, "If your mother/father/kid was low on blood and no one donated, what would you do?"

I think that they might have missed a variable for the research since as you get older, you begin to weaken and produce less white blood cells and you get sick more so shouldn't the bacteria/viruses that you get eat the clogs. Also, a body produces less stem cells as time passes.

It is hard to believe that it take older people longer to break blood clots, because as people grow, they develop a stronger immune system, so they should be able to break a blood clot pretty fast. Also, it would be helpful to know at which age they mean by old, because they might have a dulled immune system at an age like 50 or older, but it would still probably be pretty strong for people who are from 20 to 30 years old.

I understand that they say that when a body gets older it takes longer to break blood clotts, because when people get older, like seventy or eighty, their bodies start slowing down, making it harder for them. This article was very interesting!
